Greetings from our cozy corner,

We’re Alex and Taylor. Founders of @RoHaus & Co., lifelong friends, wanderers at heart, and endlessly curious about the world and the people in it.

After we moved to different countries, we found small, whimsical ways to stay close. Long letters. Voice notes. Postcards with imperfectly perfect handwriting... Always sharing the cozy and mundane bits of our day, glimmers from our travels, and little lessons we gathered from the people around us.

One concept that we have been incorporating and embodying for the past 12+ years is the Danish idea of “HYGGE” (pronounced “HOO-GAH” or “HUE-GUH”), which is the art of creating a warm, comfortable, and safe atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people OR even by yourself. Lighting a candle, making a slow-cooked meal, chatting around a table or by a fire with friends, or snuggling up with a good book/series are all HYGGE.

For us, Hygge became choosing to rest, to pour into ourselves and the present moment, and to notice what was already there. Alex healed a lot of her anxiety through one small, intentional act of self-care at a time. Taylor found joy building a whimsical little life for her family. We both learned that rest, feeling safe, and cozy does NOT have to be earned.

Once you've got a little of that warmth and steadiness, it flows from you (in the best way). You're softer with your partner, more patient with the new cashier working a long checkout line, quicker to text a friend back. And it just keeps going!

We started sharing this idea with people in our circles, and something really interesting happened. Everyone leaned in and wanted more! That eventually led to the creation of our company, RoHaus & Co., and our first product, Cozy Corner Post, a snail-mail subscription that offered a pause in your month, inspiration, comfort, and a little spark of delight to brighten your days. This year, we are excited to share that Cozy Corner Post is back, mailed through StampFans! ✨💌🐌

Each month, one double-sided, full-color 5.5 x 8.5” print card arrives in your mailbox:

- On one side: a cozy ritual centered around the season and the idea of honing, or practicing, the art of HYGGE
- On the other: a seasonal cozy art print
- Mailed by the 15th of each month, so subscribe by the 10th to catch the next envelope

Across 6 monthly editions, our subscribers LOVED hanging theirs on the fridge or displaying them in their cozy corners, swapping out the new one each month. Some even passed them along!
