Tricia Beal’s Post Card Art Club

Hello wonderful Art Friends! Welcome to my StampFans.

I don’t know about you, but I love getting special stuff, IRL, in my mailbox. It just makes me happy.

As an elder millennial I’m hungry for the nostalgia of physical media. I want to give you something REAL. It’s not just about the thing itself-it’s about the experience of the thing. The anticipation of it's arrival, the feel of the paper, the smell of the ink. Art experienced in print hits different than a fleeting digital image. Take your time. Savor the details. Put it right up to your eyeballs if you want. Give it a good sniff. Now, stick it in a book and take it with you to keep you company on your journey. View it whenever you need a calm centering moment. Really. Try it. It works. Objects can hold power that digital formats do not. It's magic.

💌 If that sounds like the kind of experience you're looking for, then I’d love for you to join my Post Card Art Club!

💌 A 6x9" postcard featuring my animal-themed art will be delivered to your mailbox once a month. You’ll get a short note about the art on the back, and maybe even a little surprise doodle here and there. I’m keeping it light and fun, and maybe a little experimental.

About the Art

I am a painter who creates emotive animal portraits that seek to find a common thread linking us to the other forms and other minds that live with us here on planet earth. I make art for thinking, feeling animals.
